What changed in 1.4.5
The Bigger & Boulder update adds a new crafting interface with:
- Search
- Category tabs
- Faster station-based filtering
This makes it much easier to find items and recipes, especially when the item list grows.
How to use the search
Open the crafting menu and type any:
- Item name
- Ingredient name
- Boss source
Search matches results and ingredients, so you can find recipes even if you only know one ingredient.
Category tabs & filters
Use category tabs to narrow down:
- Weapons / tools
- Furniture
- Materials
You can also filter by crafting station to see only recipes available at a specific station.
Quick recipes with nearby storage
If enabled, the crafting menu can pull ingredients from nearby chests.
This reduces inventory micromanagement and speeds up crafting.
