What the Seed Menu is

Terraria 1.4.5 introduces a dedicated Seed Menu that separates Special Seeds from Secret Phrase seeds. This makes it easier to discover what each seed does, and which seeds can be combined.

How to open the Seed Menu

1. Create a new world.
2. Find the seed input field.
3. Click the seed menu icon to open Special Seeds.

From there, you can enable multiple Special Seeds at once.

Special Seeds vs Secret Phrase

• Special Seeds: Select directly inside the menu.
• Secret Phrase seeds: Enter a phrase in the seed box (not case‑sensitive).

Example phrases include:

• royale with cheese
• jingle all the way
• hocus pocus

Seed combinations

Some seeds can stack and create combined effects. The Seed Menu will show supported combinations.
When a combination is possible, it is usually safe—but effects can change gameplay rules, world generation, or events.
