In the Bigger & Boulder (1.4.5) update, Terraria introduces the ability to combine multiple secret seeds during world creation. This creates unique, hybridized challenges that push survival to its limits.
How to Combine Seeds
When creating a new world, you will see a new "Seed Configuration" menu (available after unlocking some secret seeds). You can toggle multiple seeds simultaneously.
Steps:
- Open the New World menu.
- Navigate to the Seed input.
- Select the Advanced Seed Settings icon.
- Toggle the seeds you wish to combine.
Popular Combinations
1. The "Ultimate Pain" (GFB + No Traps)
Combining Get Fixed Boi with No Traps makes the underworld even more treacherous.
- Effect: All the chaos of GFB, but with a massive increase in trap density.
- Difficulty: Extreme.
2. Drunk Celebration (Drunk + Celebrationmk10)
- Effect: Combines the world-gen anomalies of the Drunk seed with the party atmosphere and rare loot rates of Celebration.
- Best for: Cooperative play and fast-paced progression.
Pro Tips
- Inventory Management: Use the new 1.4.5 search bar in your chest to find items quickly when playing in the Zenith combo.
- Wiring: In "No Traps" combos, always carry a Pressure Plate to "see" the wires.
